Activité
Novacium, founded in July 2022, is a French R&D company dedicated to revolutionizing energy materials, with a specialization in silicon and hydrogen. Novacium is located in Solaize (Lyon area, France) on the Axel’One PPI site to develop its R&D.
Novacium is founded by 3 Ph.D engineers and supported by HPQ Silicon, a Canadian pioneer in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. Together, they produce green, high-purity, low-cost silicon perfectly suited to the battery industry while strengthening supply chain security across Europe and North America.
Novacium focus on a high performances Si based anode raw materials to replace a significant part of graphite in Li-ion batteries. The objective is to boost Li-ion capacity.
Novacium's second activity is hydrogen generation. Novacium is developing an autonomous hydrogen generation system for civil and military applications.
