KEM ONE is a company operating in the field of chlorochemistry and marketing of halogenated polymers (PVC and PVCC) as well as bleach and chloromethanes.
From salt, KEM ONE first produces chlorine, soda, hydrogen, then hydrochloric acid and bleach (sodium hypochlorite). Chlorine is used mainly in the production of our chloromethanes and PVC. Apart from bleach, which is marketed as a finished product, the other products, notably soda ash, are used as intermediates in the manufacture of aluminium, cellulose, paper pulp, detergents and soaps, and in water treatment.
Chloromethanes are synthetic intermediates used in the pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors. They are also used as precursors in the fluorinated chain, for applications such as photovoltaic panels.
