Activité

The Institut Pascal, UMR 6602, is a mixed unit of research and interdisciplinary training of 370 people placed under the triple supervision of the University Clermont Auvergne (UCA), CNRS and SIGMA Clermont. The CHU of Clermont-Ferrand is also a partner of the laboratory. The Institut Pascal was born from the successive merger (2012, then 2017) of six laboratories covering the disciplines of Engineering and Systems Sciences of the Clermont site: Process Engineering, Mechanics, Robotics, Physics of Information Sciences, Health. The laboratory develops knowledge and technologies contributing to three application areas: the factory (including ecosystems), transportation and the hospital of the future. The Institut Pascal is a member of FACTOLAB, a joint laboratory with MICHELIN. It is the holder of the IMobS3 laboratory of excellence and a member of the CNRS EquipEx ROBOTEX network and the LabEx GaNeX (PIA1).

- Image Guided Therapies (IGT).
