The Institute of Environmental Geosciences IGE is a joint multi-supervisory research unit (CNRS, INRAE, IRD, UGA, Grenoble INP) hosted on the St Martin d'Hères campus near Grenoble and part of the Observatory of Sciences of the Universe of Grenoble (OSUG).
Produits, technologies & services
The IGE studies the climates, the functioning of the planet and its evolutions in terms of pollution, global changes and risks for societies. Historically, the IGE conducts its research in regions with significant societal and environmental challenges: the polar regions, the intertropical zone, and mountain regions.
