INSTITUT DES BIOMOLÉCULES MAX MOUSSERON (IBMM)

The Max Mousseron Institute of Biomolecules (IBMM or UMR5247 CNRS-Montpellier 1 University-Montpellier 2 University), whose director is Professor Pascal Dumy, is an international research establishment and one of the 4 founding institutes of the Chemistry Cluster Ballard from Montpellier.

Research activities are centered on essential biomolecules such as lipids, nucleosides, nucleotides and nucleic acids, peptides and proteins, glycosides, biopolymers, prebiotic molecules and fluorinated molecules.
Research programs conducted around biomolecules concern their design, synthesis and pharmacology.
