The Carnot Chimie Balard Cirimat Institute is a partnership research structure certified by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. Chimie Balard CIRIMAT brings together all the skills and know-how in chemistry around the following axes: chemistry and sustainable processes, energy, health-cosmetics, materials for transport and High Performance materials. From the analysis of the research need to the implementation of a suitable R&D response, the institute builds a partnership of trust with manufacturers, in the form of services, bilateral research contracts, CIFRE thesis, professional training , subsidized contracts (PSPC, Europe, Region, ADEME,...).

Our teams are well-known for their wide range of skills in the following industrial sectors: energy, health and cosmetics, high performance materials, materials for transportation, green chemistry.

Thanks to its 800 collaborators, including 300 PhD students, and to its high-value technology platforms, the Institute Carnot Chimie Balard Cirimat offers to companies the perfect frame for innovation. They will also benefit from the technology platforms for synthesis, formatting, analysis, characterization and also from industrial pilots.
