IFP ENERGIES NOUVELLES (IFPEN)

Public research and training organization, with internationally recognized expertise, in the fields of energy, transport and the environment.
From scientific concepts within the framework of fundamental research, through to technological solutions in the context of applied research, innovation is central to its activities, hinged around three strategic directions for the benefit of the ecological transition: climate, environment and circular economy – renewable energies – sustainable mobility.

SMEs supported have access to its technical resources and its expertise in more than 50 professions. IFPEN also shares its expertise in the field of intellectual property and project management.

Technological support for innovative companies: in most cases, IFPEN implements a policy of providing competitiveness support to SMEs and intermediate-sized companies, giving priority to the eco-industries sector. IFPEN’s objective is to reinforce technology transfer towards these SMEs to ensure that the results of the partnerships are more rapidly transformed into products and services and to help them stand out on their markets.
Each year, more than 300 new contacts are made with SMEs.
As a result, some 50 projects are reviewed, leading to around 10 partnership agreements.
