GREENCELL specializes in the production of fungal and bacterial flora for the treatment of polluted environments. The selected filamentous fungi, in some cases associated with selected bacterial strains, produce particularly efficient enzyme complexes, capable of biodegrading a wide range of complex organic molecules that are often highly toxic to a microbial population indigenous to purification systems. They thus improve the performance of biological treatments either by participating directly in the elimination of polluting compounds, or by protecting an active microbial flora by degradation of toxic compounds.
