Enersens is a French company founded in 2010 specializing in the production of silica aerogel-based thermal insulation materials. A spin-off of the PCAS Group, Enersens has been independent since 2018 and focuses its production on high-performance composites for highly technical applications such as electric batteries and thermal protection. Its materials are qualified for use in numerous aerospace and defense applications.
Enersens has a strong intellectual property portfolio of 6 patent families, is ISO9001 certified and is preparing for its EN9100 certification.

Enersens controls all processes, from design to marketing, including the chemical synthesis stages of pure silica aerogel or in composite form.

Enersens' Skogar panels are thin composites (starting at 0.5 mm) providing very high-performance thermal insulation for the automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors.
Lightweight, flame-retardant, and boasting the lowest thermal conductivity on the market (0.012 W/mK), they are particularly well-suited for the following applications:
- Prevention of heat spread (batteries);
- Fire protection (FAR 25.853);
- Insulation of tanks and pipelines, from cryogenic to high temperatures;
- Thermal and acoustic insulation of cabins and nacelles;
- Thermal shields for space modules
