CONIDIA is a laboratory specialized in the study of the interactions of microorganisms with their environment. Some of the topics covered include assistance with the development of mold resistant materials, works on the microbiological quality of the air and on polluted sites and soils. Example of work: R&D work on the biological depollution of soils and the development of materials protected against microorganisms. Development of test benches to test the effectiveness of filters against microorganisms. Works on the colonization of materials by microscopic algae.

CONIDIA is a laboratory specialized in the study of the interactions of microorganisms with their environment. More specifically, we work on the relations between materials- biocides-micro-organisms in order to favor the development of micro-organisms or on the contrary to prevent them. Our recent work includes the development of silicone resistant molds or the development of pollution monitoring methods for COHVs in effluents. We are also working on the theme of microbiological air quality by developing a test bench to test the efficiency of filters in car compartments. We use state-of-the-art tools in the field of micro- biology with molecular biology or image analysis.
