CENTRE D'ENSEIGNEMENT, DE RECHERCHE ET D'INNOVATION ENERGIE ENVIRONNEMENT

Energy and the environment are major issues for the 21st century and are part of national and European policies for energy and ecological transition. The scientific themes explored by CERI EE focus on atmospheric sciences and energy efficiency. The aim is to understand the impact of human activity on the atmosphere and its consequences on air quality and to develop methodologies for analysing and characterizing the physical phenomena of energy transfer associated with the rationalisation of the use of raw materials. CERI EE trains engineers capable of ensuring the energy transition and analysing environmental performance in a continuous improvement process.

In addition to the engineering and professional training, the competences concern the atmospheric sciences and the energy efficiency of components, systems and processes.

- Assessment of material emissions
- Development and qualification of sensors for gaseous and particulate pollutants,
- Studies of chemical mechanisms on the surface of materials or in the ambient air, both indoors and outdoors,
- Diagnosis and analysis of pollutant sources,
- Improvement of the energy performance of any industrial system.
