ÉCOLE NATIONALE DES TRAVAUX PUBLICS DE L'ÉTAT (ENTPE)

ENTPE is a reputed French Graduate, post-graduate and Research Institute. It is a state funded engineering school within the ministry in charge of ecology, energy, sustainable and spacial development. ENTPE is a member of Lyon University. ENTPE provides programs in the fields of Territorial and Urban Planning and Governance, Natural and Industrial Risk management, Building Sciences and infrastructures, Transport Policy and environment.

ENTPE also delivers a Phd degree. ENTPE, through its researchers, is member of a certain number of industrial clusters: CARA, Axelera, Cluster Lumière, INDURA, PIC, GRAIE... and to over 50 c

ENTPE boasts 6 joint reserch units carying out quality research activities :
• Environmental Sciences (LEHNA laboratory). Fields cover ecotoxicology and environmental safety assessment, pollutant transfers in porous media and pollutant effects on ecosystems (fauna and flora).
• Infrastructures and building sciences (LGCB and LTDS laboratories). Fields cover soil mechanics, construction, structure dynamics, materials, physical analysis of housing including end-user comfort.
• Transport policy and mobility (LAET laboratory) and traffic modelling (LICIT laboratory)
• Urban governance, planning and public policy (EVS-RIVES laboratory). Interdisciplinary approach cover geography, policy, sociology, social anthropology and history.
