Everything you need to know to rapidly go live with supercritical CO₂

Innovation Fluides Supercritiques (IFS) launches the 4th edition of its Young Researcher Training Course.

This course is aimed at PhD students, post-docs, R&D engineers and technicians who need to use supercritical CO₂ for their research work. It applies to all fields of application: waste and by-product valorization, plant extraction, cleaning, drying, polymer processing, textiles, etc.

Requirements : Basic knowledge of supercritical fluid processes and applications

Training objectives :

  • Learn how to use a laboratory facility independently and safely
  • Acquire a methodology for conducting research projects requiring the use of supercritical CO₂

 

Program :

  • Use of a lab-scale facility for supercritical CO₂ extraction
  • Equipment maintenance and upkeep, Management of common breakdowns
  • Organization and running of trials using supercritical processes
  • Exploitation of trial results
  • Overview of supercritical fluid applications

 

Training method and resources : Taught in English, the course includes a theoretical part (35%) and a practical part (65%) that will take place directly at the IFS technical center, to take advantage of its various visualization, extraction or impregnation facilities.

Price : €1,200 ex-VAT per participant, may be covered by an OPCO
